High Meadow Equine Center is the newest addition to Poco Valley Farm. Located just 4 miles northwest of Maquoketa in scenic Jackson County, Iowa, Jack and Becky McDermott's Poco Valley Farm encumbers 360 acres of rolling hills, wooded trails and rugged bluffs near the Maquoketa River. Poco Valley Farm and High Meadow Equine Center provide the perfect setting for equine services including trail riding, boarding, lessons, training and farrier service.
High Meadow Equine Center is managed by Anna Dague & Jason Fleming and was designed to enhance what Poco Valley Farm already has to offer. In addition to the most scenic trail riding around, and great American Quarter Horse breeding, Jack, Becky, Anna and Jason now offer a beautiful new facility for year round riding, training, lessons and recreation.
Amenities include a 62' x 100' indoor arena, full service farrier/blacksmith shop, indoor wash bay, hot & cold water, 10 stalls, tack room, restroom & laundry facilities, office, tack shop and lounge.
